For almost a year and a half, the pandemic has been throwing wrecking balls left and right at small businesses, especially towards restaurants. It’s been a devastating blow for our community to lose these historic and family-owned staples. And while most are still fighting to stay open, some will close their doors for good.
Many assumed The Harvester, a Tacoma staple, might succumb to the same fate when they closed down almost two years ago.
But now, we’re so excited to share that The Harvester is open and ready to serve you!
For owner, Jonathan Tweten, pivoting was the best option to get The Harvester back up and running. He says, “Over the past few months, we really put our heads together to build a model for The Harvester Restaurant that would be profitable and ultimately allow it to be successful.”
Some of the changes will be new hours and an adjusted menu featuring their most popular dishes like the infamous Big Foot Burrito, signature breakfast plates like their fresh homemade lemon crepes, and of course their drool-worthy Stuffed French Toast.
Their classic American breakfasts and hearty comfort food lunches are sure to knock your socks off! With this gem opening up, we not only get a mouthful of good local food, but a taste of hope that other treasured eateries will soon follow.
The Harvester in Stadium District is now open Wednesday – Sunday from 7A-3P so you can enjoy all your breakfast and lunch favorites.
See their mouthwatering menu, order breakfast or lunch from the comfort of your home via DoorDash, or get the full Harvester experience at their Stadium District location.
