Tacoma, WA – Announcing Rock with a Reason, a concert to benefit the Metropolitan Development Council’s Avenue Apartments.

To be held Friday, November 10th, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at Urban Grace Church in downtown Tacoma. Tacoma’s own Probable Cause and Seattle-based singer Josephine Howell opening the night.

Tickets are $40 and available via www.rockwithareason.com or at www.BrownPaperTickets.com.

One-hundred percent of the event’s ticket sales and sponsorship dollars will be donated to Metropolitan Development Council’s Avenue Apartments, which offer 14 units of housing specifically for young adults (18 through 24 years old) who have been chronically homeless and have a documented disability.

Since opening in July 2017, more than half of the apartments have been filled with new tenants who now have access to MDC’s services, including treatment for substance use disorder and/or mental health conditions, as well as job training and education resources.

At a time when Tacoma is actively engaged in efforts to reduce homelessness, to engage both the community and the homeless population, and to develop long-term sustainable solutions on this issue, we invite you to spend an evening dedicated to raising funds to help chronically homeless young adults transition into stability.

Rock for a Reason is underwritten by Ted and Karena Schlatter.

Blind Ambition Productions, Blue Print Consulting Group, Layline, LLC, the Leavitt Group, Stripe Rite, Tairis Group, Vistage/Linda Remsberg, Produce Aisle, and Avalanche Concert Lighting are all proud sponsors of the event.
