The Fire & Ice Festival means holiday magic is filling the cone! Tacoma’s Museum of Glass is celebrating its Third Annual Fire and Ice Festival, November 16 through the New Year, with a variety of holiday themed activities, performances, and demonstrations. See the spirit of the holidays brought to life in our Hot Shop with Visiting Artist Nancy Callan creating her signature Snow People, or get creative and make your own glass ornament on the Hot Shop floor. Stop into the Education Studio for a multitude of projects for the whole family, and be sure to grab unique holiday gifts for your friends and family in our Store. Your visit to MOG is sure to delight visitors of all ages this holiday season.
Some special events that are not to be missed:
November 17-19: Double Discount Days for Members
November 25, 4-7pm: MOG & GROG! Sip festive libations and shop local artists in our Grand Hall on Small Business Saturday. Admission is free.
December 2-3 & 27-29: Make your own glass ornament with Hilltop Artists
December 16: Watch the spirit of the holidays come to life in the Hot Shop when Visiting Artist Nancy Callan creates her signature Snow People.
December 23 & 31, 11:30am-1pm and 2-3:30pm both days: Warm up in the Hot Shop while our all-star Team combine molten glass with giant blocks of ice!
