One of the ancient Celtic nations, Wales is steeped in music, magic and mythology – perfect for The Christmas Revels. Expect dragons, choral singing, story-telling, harps, fiddle, humor, magic, mystery, and Deuair, a musical duo from Wales bringing us traditional tunes learnt from friends or discovered in sleeping manuscripts. The cast also includes: irrepressible actor Tony Curry, the Revels adult and children’s choruses, and the Seattle Brass Ensemble.

The show opens in a village similar to the village in Dylan Thomas’ A Child’s Christmas in Wales. From there we’ll travel further back to the misty time of sorcerers and shape-shifters to tell the tale of the birth of the legendary bard Taliesin. The singing will touch your heart. The mummers play, which includes TWO dragons, will tickle your funny bone.
