Save Salmon, Save Money, Save Orca At the Same Time

Join South Sound Surfrider as it hosts Jim Waddell, retired civil engineer from US Army Corps of Engineers, for this timely presentation about the true cost and economics of the four lower Snake River Dams, about how the dams are hindering salmon and orca recovery in our region, as well as the Elwha Dam removal and its watershed that is now booming with new life. Jim will present solutions we can quickly put in place to restore salmon runs and save our Southern Resident Killer Whales if we take decisive action now. Come out for an informative and friendly discussion about the place we live and love, and how each of us can help to improve it. This is the monthly meeting of the South Sound Chapter and is free and open to the public. All ages welcome.
