Narrows Beach Cleanup

In 2018, South Sound Surfrider and 631 volunteers removed over 3,300 lbs of trash from South Sound beaches at over 15 events! Purdy Sandspit County Park wins the dirtiest beach with 655 lbs of trash for a 5 hour cleanup for World Oceans Day. The most poundage came from the Tacoma Shoreline Survey in collaboration with the The Ikkatsu Project in November with 669 lbs!!!

Join South Sound Surfrider to kick off 2019 with a Saturday afternoon beach cleanup at the Narrows Beach Park in Gig Harbor. Rain or shine, dress for the weather! We encourage you to bring your own bucket and gloves for the cleanup but we will have some spares to share. Please be sure to wear boots and bring your reusable bottle to fill at our drinking station. See you at the beach!
