6:45pm Presentation by Gene Grulich about log cabins (with an emphasis on Job Carr cabin history) at Slavonian Hall on N 30th St

About the Speaker:
Along with working to save many historic buildings in Tacoma, Mr. Grulich designed and oversaw the building of the Job Carr Cabin Museum.

About the Cabin:
In 1865, Job Carr began building his cabin in the woods overlooking the shores of Commencement Bay. His cabin was the first permanent, non-native structure to be built where Tacoma grew into a city.
