 e's no other tournament like it. The Tacoma Open prize purse is one of the
  largest in the Northwest\, including amateur division prizes.\n\nThe Taco
 ma Open is a 54-hole medal play tournament. After 36 holes are played\, th
 e field will be cut to the low 1/3 of the field and ties. Optional daily i
 ndividual special games are available to players.\n\nDivisions: Profession
 al and three Amateur divisions\n\nEligible Players: All Golf Professionals
  and all amateurs (as defined by the USGA) with current USGA handicap inde
 xes. Contestants entering as amateurs may not accept professional money.\n
