DESCRIPTION:\nEnjoy music\, dance and Chinese culture at the 5th annual Tac
 oma Moon Festival! This free event takes place on Sept. 16 from 2-7 p.m. a
 t Chinese Reconciliation Park along Tacoma’s waterfront. Many activities
  take place around the beautiful Fuzhou Ting. Wonderful entertainment for 
 all!\n\nPresented by the Chinese Reconciliation Project Foundation\, the t
 heme of this year's celebration is "Immigrant's Stories."​ The festival 
 features music\, dance\, and theatrical performers from a number of herita
 ge communities. Besides performances from East Asian cultures which tradit
 ionally celebrate Moon Festivals in September\, there will be a Marimba Ba
 nd\, a Poetry Reading and a final performance of Beijing Opera by Seattle
 ’s Hwa... Sheng Chinese Opera Club.\n\nOur famous “Moon Cakes\,” wil
 l be available for sale along with a variety of teas. A wine and beer gard
 en will be available for adults\, and there will be hands-on activities fo
 r adults and children. As the festival closes at 7 pm\, a parade of lanter
 ns will be led by the Moon Princess.\n\nWe are still seeking corporate and
