DESCRIPTION:TACOMA CONCERT BAND PRESENTS “TIE THE KNOT”\nThe Tacoma Con
 cert Band\, conducted by Gerard Morris\, will present “Tie the Knot\,”
  a\ncelebration of its 40 years of performances as members of the local ar
 ts community on Saturday evening\, October 12th\, 7:30 p.m.\, at Tacoma’
 s historic (and beautifully refurbished) Pantages Theater. The concert pro
 gram includes music inspired by stories of love by composers such as J.S. 
 Bach\, Leonard Bernstein\, Richard Wagner\, and Aaron Copland. The concert
  also features Student Soloist Competition winner Hugo Bliss performing W.
 A. Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 3\, and of course a Sousa march or two. It w
 ill be a memorable beginning to a season of wonderful music\, performed by
  the Northwest’s premier concert band.
