We have been in the San Francisco Bay Area\, Portland\, and San Diego over the past three summers\, and this co ming summer we offer up Tacoma\, the second largest urban area in the stat e of Washington. Each is designed for simply a few days of pure sketching in another o f our fabulous west coast cities with others who share the same passions a bout sketching in urban environments.\n\nCheck out the Tacoma Link Light R ail in the right margin to learn about how free and easy one can travel fr om one end of downtown to the other.\n\n\n\n1. Friday - August 19th. \n\n Our "Meet &\; Greet" will begin with our Registration at 6pm at Picasso 's Catering (map) where they proclaim\, "Food is Art." Dinner will be se rved at about 6:45 - 7pm. During the evening we will "break the ice" with timed\, 5 min portrait sketches of each other\, we will enjoy dinner toget her\, and we will hold a raffle for art supplies - each attendee will rece ive a ticket at the door.\n\nBe sure you get your RSVP back to us by Augus t 5th\, and you will receive an extra ticket for a second raffle for a ver y special art-supply item.\n\nOur caterer is offering four dinner choices to serve various tastes (meat\, fish\, vegetarian\, gluten free).Each dinn er will cost  $25\, which includes the tip. There will be a no-host bar for wine\, beer\, cider\, etc.Menu details are in the RSVP form\, below.\n \n Please use the RSVP link below to fill out the reservation and meal cho ice form.  You will receive a confirmation email from one of the event st aff.  Please DO NOT call the caterer to make your reservation.  All rese rvations must come through the link below.\n\n2. Saturday - August 20th.\ n\nThe Sketch Crawl Marathon will begin at 9 am with an orientation in th e Reception Area of the Auditorium of the Washington State Historical Muse um (map). If you use the Museum's parking lot\, you will receive all-day $ 3 parking coupons - details pending. Sketching should begin about 9:15ish. \n\nThe first of two Sharings of Sketches will take place at 11:30 am\, a long with the "Official Group Photo." Sketchers will be on their own for l unch. (Hint: join one of our volunteers for lunch and find out about great sketching spots you might otherwise miss.)\n\nThe second Sharing of Sketc hes\, and possible second group photo\, will take place at 4pm back at th e museum.\n\n3. Sunday - August 21st.\n\nMeet up at the front door of the Tacoma Art Museum (map) at 9 am for announcements and a few more hours o f sketching. The location for the final Sharing of Sketching and Final Gro up Photo will be announced at the 9am session. They will take place at th e event's closing at noon.\n\n\nRSVP\n\n1.
