DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nProctor Arts Fest is a community-based street fair on Nor
 th 26th &amp\; Proctor Streets in Tacoma\, WA. It has been organized by
  the Proctor Business District Association\, along with community voluntee
 rs\, for over 18 years. The goal of Proctor Arts Fest is to provide a fre
 e\, accessible and celebratory experience of the arts for the public.\n\n
 Proctor Arts Fest attracts approximately 10\,000 visitors from Tacoma\, P
 ierce and Thurston Counties and 160 art and crafts vendors every year. In 
 addition to the vendors\, it features a Juried Art Show of about 85 art pi
 eces by 60 artists\, three stages of live music and entertainment (this in
 cludes one stage that is designated “The Family Stage” – organized 
 by personnel of the Tacoma Public Library)\, a kids area with participatio
 n by the Metropolitan Park District\, a Farmers’ Market and a merchant s
 idewalk sale.\n\nCome &amp\; enjoy live music and local entertainment\, p
 urchase original artwork or a craft piece from it’s maker\, browse throu
 gh the juried art show and let the children create their own original “
 art”. A great way to get to know your neighbors and practice building yo
 ur community. Proctor Arts Fest is a family friendly event.\n\nHappening
