SUMMARY:Be the Match: Donor Registration Drive in Honor of Jedd
DESCRIPTION:We are hosting a Be the Match donor registration drive in honor
  of Jedd\, a local teenager who is battling leukemia. It is thanks to the 
 kindness of a stranger that Jedd will be getting a life-saving transplant 
 donation in December through the Be the Match national registry. We are in
 viting the community to rally around Jedd and pay it forward in his honor.
  Jedd's journey is far from over and this show of support will help encour
 age him and his family. AND you could even save a life!\n\nA cheek swab an
 d a little paperwork\, taking about 5 minutes\, is all you have to do to t
 urn hope into action.\n\n70% of patients who need a marrow transplant do n
 ot have someone who is a match in their family. That's 14\,000 patients a 
 year who are waiting for someone like you to help save their life. Only 1 
 out of 430 people who register ever get a chance to donate - this means th
 at the more people who register\, the better! A family in need could be wa
