DESCRIPTION:The Gingerbread Showcase is a community event presented by Rebu
 ilding Together South Sound in the lobby of the Courtyard Marriott Downtow
 n Tacoma. Displayed from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day\, gingerbre
 ad landmarks created by local bakers and culinary students from Tacoma Pub
 lic Schools\, showcase the history and flavor of Tacoma. A new\, festive a
 ctivity for families to enjoy during the holiday season\, the Gingerbread 
 Showcase is a collaboration between Rebuilding Together South Sound\, its 
 partners\, and the Tacoma Public Schools. With the intention of becoming a
 n annual event\, and partnering with the Children’s Museum’s Gingerbre
 ad Jamboree\, we hope that you will take time out of your busy holiday sea
 son to stop by\, enjoy the creations and learn more about Rebuilding Toget
