DESCRIPTION:Every year\, the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium honors Tacoma 
 residents with free admission on designated days. The designated holidays 
 are offered as thanks for those local voters who supported a $35 million g
 rant toward park improvements back in 2014.\n\nRemaining 2016 dates includ
 e:\nFriday\, October 7\nSunday\, October 23\nFriday\, November 4\nThursday
 \, November 17\n\nAdults 18+ are required to provide proof of residency at
  a Tacoma address (not a P.O. box).\n\nIf your photo ID does not have a ph
 ysical Tacoma address\, you will be required to provide an alternative met
 hod of documentation\, such as a photo ID with a utility bill (or other le
 gal document that lists a Tacoma address) that matches the name on the pho
 to ID.\n\nEach adult living at that address must provide an alternative me
 thod of proof of residency if their ID does not have a Tacoma address. Chi
 ldren age 17 and younger do not require proof of residence.
