DESCRIPTION:Art on the Avenue is an annual music and art festival hosted by
  the 6th Ave Business District\, Tacoma WA’s Most Eclectic District\, al
 ong 6th Avenue from State St. to Alder. In its 17th year and attracting th
 ousands of patrons\, it is Tacoma’s largest arts-based yearly event. Fro
 m Ruston Way to the East Side to Lakewood and all points between\, Tacoma 
 is a diverse and varied community. Yet even through our vast differences w
 e tend to have a fierce love for our city and there is a brotherly camarad
 erie among its inhabitants. This year’s festival will focus on the many 
 styles and forms of expressions from our diverse city.
