The 5-mile Drive at Point Defiance Park has some of the best road biking conditions in the state, through tall shady trees and with optional routes down to the water. The main outer loop is closed to vehicles and great for family and group rides Saturdays and Sundays until 1 pm and weekdays until 10 am (this includes holidays occurring on a weekday).

The Scott Pierson Trail connects to the Cushman Trail across the scenic Narrows Bridge and even offers a historical tour through War Memorial Park in Tacoma’s Narrows District. Pictured above.

Swamp Creek is carved with paved trails for all experience levels. The designated Tacoma park setting is a true gem in East Tacoma.
