Art on the Avenue is an annual music and art festival hosted by the 6th Ave Business District, Tacoma WA’s Most Eclectic District, along 6th Avenue from State St. to Alder. In its 17th year and attracting thousands of patrons, it is Tacoma’s largest arts-based yearly event. From Ruston Way to the East Side to Lakewood and all points between, Tacoma is a diverse and varied community. Yet even through our vast differences we tend to have a fierce love for our city and there is a brotherly camaraderie among its inhabitants. This year’s festival will focus on the many styles and forms of expressions from our diverse city.
