All Day Experience

This year’s Freedom Fair will provide a full day of events that visitors of all ages will enjoy. The Ram, Duke’s Chowder House, The Swiss Restaurant, Katie Downs Restaurant, and the America Strong Project will all be holding concerts along the waterfront. Locations vary from parks to stages provided by the restaurants. Check here for complete band listings and locations.

A Tuskegee model plane, naval attack aircraft, and a massive cargo plane are a few of the aircraft that will be seen flying in the annual airshow. The event will take place over Commencement Bay between 1:30 and 3:30. Make sure you grab a good seat and watch these planes perform aerial stunts over the Puget Sound.

The Firework show will begin at 10:10 and will feature some of the most exciting displays on the water. The show will take place in front of Katie Downs Restaurant, but will be visible along the waterfront.

Freedom Fair’s festivities will continue into Sunday, July 5th, as the 5th annual Gig Harbor Wings and Wheels event will be taking place at the Tacoma Narrows Airport. Cars, Planes, and dragsters will all be on display to wrap up the weekend. Find more information as well as tickets here.
