Calm, Cool, and Collected – Being strong in the face of difficulty

In this introductory course we will learn meditation and the Buddhist approach to training the mind. Buddhist Masters of the past have said that if we train our mind well, it will be like a blacksmith’s anvil that, no matter how hard it is hit, will remain solid and stable. Imagine if you had the ability to be unshaken or undisturbed by the difficult experiences and situations that life threw at you! We will look at the methods these Buddhist Masters used to develop minds as strong as a blacksmiths anvil and increase our ability to be calm, cool, and collected all the time. Applying these methods in your everyday life will lead to happiness and a sense of purpose and harmony in your relationships.

No meditation experience necessary. Everyone is welcome.
